Following are site pictures of historic resources adjacent to the Haitian cruise port of Cap-Haitien. I participated in the development of a strategic tourism plan for the cruise port of Cap-Haitien as a member of an Organization of American States sponsored team. Combining historic, cultural, environmental and economic resources in the region into an engaging and safe, one-day experience for cruise-ship passengers.
The pictures depict the Citadelle, the castle of Sans-Souci and a local dance troupe. These were some of the local cultural elements integrated into the final master plan for Cap-Haitien. Other components included the schematic planning and design of the port arrival area, craft markets, downtown redevelopment and infrastructure improvements.
